Ahmed Mamdouh Abdel Razek

Ahmed Mamdouh is an economist and Regional Director of Economic Research and Analysis, with more than 20 years of experience in economic research, financial market analysis, economic consulting, and investment opportunity assessment.

He has worked as a business consultant for the Government of Dubai, contributing to strategic consulting and business development initiatives. He has also participated in preparing specialized economic and financial studies and analyzing local and global market trends from both macroeconomic and microeconomic perspectives.

Ahmed also has specialized experience in gold and precious metals markets through his work in economic research and analysis within one of the institutions specialized in trading and selling precious metals. His work includes continuous monitoring of the impact of inflation, interest rates, the U.S. dollar, central bank decisions, and geopolitical tensions on gold and precious metals price movements.

He specializes in analyzing currencies, commodities, equities, bonds, and digital assets, with extensive experience in using both fundamental and technical analysis to interpret the impact of economic variables and central bank decisions on price trends and financial market movements. He also prepares daily market reports, market studies, and economic forecasts using data analysis tools and economic modeling.

Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the American University in Cairo and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.

He appears regularly as a guest analyst on CNBC Arabia, providing insights on global markets. He also writes economic articles for Al Alam Al Youm newspaper and several economic publications, in addition to preparing monthly macroeconomic and central bank forecasts for FXStreet.
